Introduction to Triangles

– A triangle is a polygon with three sides, three angles, and three vertices. – Depending on the angles and sides, triangles can be classified into various types.

Classification Based on Sides

Equilateral Triangle: All three sides are equal in length, and all three angles measure 60°. Isosceles Triangle: Two sides are equal in length, and the angles opposite those sides are equal. Scalene Triangle: All three sides are of different lengths, and all three angles are different.

Classification Based on Angles

Acute Triangle: All three angles are less than 90°. Right Triangle: One of the angles is exactly 90°. Obtuse Triangle: One of the angles is greater than 90°.
